Creating an account and using Mr. Chud means you accept these terms. If you don’t agree with them, don’t use the app, and if you already have an account, you can delete it at any time from Settings.
You need to be at least 13 to use Mr. Chud.
Mr. Chud is a self-accountability app. You submit one honest daily log, by voice or text, describing your day. Our AI scores it 0-100, and your Chud avatar changes appearance to reflect the average of your last 14 logged days. Friends in your circle can see your Chud’s state and score, both of the names you typed (your display name and your Chud’s), your streak and level, and the photos you attach to a day. They never see the text of your log. The privacy policy sets out exactly what reaches them.
The entire product depends on you actually being honest. There’s no verification, no fact-checking, no lie detector. You get out of it exactly what you put into it.
Prime is an optional auto-renewing subscription, sold as a yearly plan or a monthly plan through the App Store or the Play Store: bigger circles, extra art styles, the home-screen widget, and more.
We will never sell, boost, gift, or otherwise let you buy your health score or your Chud’s tier. No IAP shortcut to a higher number, no “premium thriving” skip button. Every point Mr. Chud shows is earned by an entry you actually wrote.
If we ever build a feature that violates this, consider these terms broken by us, not you.
We can suspend or remove accounts that use the app to hurt other people.
The community board inside the app is public. Everything you post, comment, or vote on there is visible to every other Mr. Chud user, under your display name. Treat it that way. You keep ownership of what you write; you give us permission to display it in the app and on the board.
Don’t post any of this. These are the rules, and they are the ones we enforce when someone reports a post:
Every post and comment can be reported from inside the app, and every report goes to a human. We review it and take down anything that breaks the rules, and we aim to act within 24 hours. You can also block a user, which hides everything they post from you. We can remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules; repeat offenders lose access to the board, and the worst content costs you the account on the first offence. Removal decisions are ours to make.
Mr. Chud is an accountability tool, not a doctor, therapist, or medical device. Your health score reflects what you told an AI about your day. It is not a diagnosis, and it isn’t a substitute for professional medical or mental health care.
If you’re struggling, please talk to an actual professional, not a clay avatar.
In plain words: we built this to help, but we can’t promise it’ll be perfect, always available, or right about your score every time.
To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect damages, lost data, or bad decisions made because a fictional creature judged you. Our total liability, if any, is capped at whatever you paid us in the past 12 months, which, for most people, is nothing.
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, where Mr. Chud is operated from. Any dispute gets sorted under Malaysian law.
We’ll update these terms as the app changes. Payments, store policies, and new features may all shift the details. When we do, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
Ask us anything. Mr. Chud is currently a one-person operation, run by Ben Yap, based in Malaysia.
